Spent some family time in town today! :))
Surprised self at my unwavering determination in not buying any beautiful dresses and tops. To reward myself for being so persevering, bought a vest + necklace. Sis bought sooo much more, in which im happy for her since the last time she splurged on clothes was last december in Australia (where she bought exactly 40 tops!!!)

Watched Bolt in 3D yesterday! Despite it being a cartoon(and i dont watch cartoon movies), it's considered not bad. A 3.2/5, i'd say.

While waiting for my hair to dry, i shall organise my thoughts for the day...
Attended a jazz concert with ciyuan today; it's called Dorian (sounds like durian). Wanted to support wanting in her solo jazz piece and did not expect to see hailiang there too! He sang 'The Way You Look Tonight" while playing the piano at the same time.
So darn cool. I think he might have swept a number of girls off their feet with his
sexy husky voice and
superb piano skills. Wu la la. He played as if his whole heart was in it and it was only him and the piano.
I really admire all those who dare to play in front of a huge audience and it kinda rekindles my passion for piano ;though im supposed to play for church tmr too, i didnt really think it was a big deal until now. Wow. Also, saw Shibin and his parents, who were there to support his sister. :)
Surprisingly, saw many familiar faces like Jiale and Alan and the amazing thing is that most of them were from the same class as moi from pri 2-6. So I shall name today P2-6A-day since Ciyuan, Wanting, Hailiang, Jiale, Alan were few of those who were in the same class for 5 years. :) Heard some gossip too, like Qiyuan topped NJ in maths (which is kinda unbelievable esp when we teleport back to the pri sch days; not to doubt her or anything but she's just a really shy girl and all) and of course, the well-known fact that Mayank scored highest across the nation for the As. Simply cant believe that im in the same class as them; feel quite loser-ish. HAHA.
My first time at Northpoint started early this morning at Swensens and it was shopping for church's presents after that. Met Angie in the afternoon to collect clothes, which we bought online and accompanied her to Sheer Romance. :P Then, took a bus down to Cityhall where i met ciyuan for more shopping-to-our-hearts'-delight-time. And it was jazzy session after that. :)))
Though i
successfully refrained from buying 2 pieces of dress (which look really chic) and a black top, i arrived home to find that my mum has bought me another 2 tops from Island Shop, which add on to the brown top she bought me from the same shop yesterday. AIYOU AIYOU. This is in
total contrast to her nagging at me yesterday, to reduce spendings on clothes. Seems like she's suffering the same problem as me - FAILURE TO RESIST TEMPTATIONS.

Oh btw, one of the top from Forever 21 is in the washing now! Triple yay! :)
From this time forth, i shall

Though i tried to divert my eyes from looking at clothes, my shopping cart still consisted of:
1. Knee-length tube dress with mini flowery prints on it
2. White top from haji lane
3. Black sleeveless top which looks like a coat from the back
4. Bluish-black sweater vest from Topshop
AND I STILL CANT MANAGE TO FORGET THOSE TOPS FROM FOREVER 21. :(
Ciyuan and i didnt watch any movies in the end. Instead, we were in bugis and haji lane and i was surprised to find a number of unfamiliar shops. Shows that it's been donkey years since i set foot in those territories. Mum joined us in the evening cuz i was short of cash and she had to step in as my hero.
Serious reminder to self: Have broken the
fourth rule of List-to-Dos. Think i'll just have to slash that one out. It doesnt seem to be working AT ALL.
The time has arrived for my
wisdom tooth to announce its presence...AGAIN. For the past 2 years, during these few days, it has always successfully made its comeback and this time is no exception. Now, my gum swells and tooth aches TERRIBLY. Have been trying to avoid Operation Tooth as i hear that it hurts quite a bit and is costly too. Would rather have it removed when i start working so that company can pay. :P Well, think i'll go to the dentist tmr morning to ease the pain and also have to tolerate dentist's naggings for not heeding his advice to have the tooth removed last year.
Gotta decorate the church with christmas blingblings during noon time and after that- tuition time. Hope im able to speak accurately with tooth hurting and that my tutee doesnt try to imitate me if i fail...

Just got back from a birthday celebration at vivo with Pris, Jeslin, Shawn and Desmond. Didnt expect to still keep in close contact with my first-3-months-jc-friends. Enjoyed myself tremendously today and all of them are just sooo lame and funny. We're planning a cruise during the next hols. So exciting!
Watched "Wildchild" with Angie and Tingyou in the afternoon too. I'd rate it a 4/5 - worth the $7.50. Furthermore, the popcorn was
totally tasteless, thus a dissatisfied Angie and I went to the counter to change them and surprisingly, those people selling were super nice and did not hesitate to replace the entire box twice. Well anw, it seems just like the perfect show to catch esp with girlfriends :)

orever 21 and i was SOOO tempted to add them to my collection at home. However, after wavering for a while, I reluctantly chose to save the money instead. Sigh sadly, i cant seem to get them outta my mind. :(
Hmm will be at plaza sing tmr to catch a movie and do retail therapy with ciyuan! Hope my feet wont find their way back to
forever 21 to get hold of those tops. =S

The girls stayed over after that and our CAC reunited again! it's been a looooong time since we last combined forces. HAHA. love them all!

Have decided that this hols is simply too short and have to make better use of it. Throughout the past week, i did not manage to fulfil my plans for the christmas hols cuz most of the time was spend hanging out.
List of To-Dos:
1. Spend more time with God
2. Spend more time with family
3. PACK THE HOUSE! (as reminded by mum 24/7)
4. Resist temptation to window-shopas a typical day will burn holes in my pocket
5. Take better care of health and face (consider toner and moisturer??)
6. Go tanning and be sure to enjoy self (as declared by a determined wanling)
7. Ensure that Carolling goes smoothly (24th Dec)
8. Plan for Singspiration (21st Dec)
9. Squeeze in activities which i enjoy
eg. reading novels
10. Attempt to reduce amount of time gossiping
I'm going to shop for Priscilla's birthday present with jeslin, desmond and shawn in town tmr. It's been centuries since i last saw them! Cant wait!

14th Nov - WANLING'S BDAY! :D
Exams ended last saturday. Right after that, met wanling! in IMM and cafe-cartelled with her. After that, we went to watch "The Promise" at UCC with my churchmates and chialing joined us too! it was such a pity eileen had diarrhoea at the last min and mabel couldnt make it.
The musical was great; there was like a real baby acting as Jesus when he was young and actual horses moving about on stage. Could tell that much effort and time was spent rehearsing and the choir was fantastic! Sent shivers down my spine everytime they opened their mouths. It's great that the Lord has blessed them with wonderful voices which are put into good use esp for the musical. The Lord's grace is everlasting and never-ending!
Double-dated with tingyou and cheeping aka "tom" after that! went to haato where we played a super hilarious game of TABOO which totally drained our energy cuz too much action and enthusiasm was put into acting the words out. and someone forgot that "chicken rice" exists in our universe. pathetic. HAHA.
Watched "sex-in-the-city" and "dont mess with the zohan" today with tingyou and angie. both are quite funny but also contain a few disgusting scenes. and sick angie went to purposely press pause at one of the sickest scenes. goodness me. hahaha
So much more stuff on my mind but am too lazy to put them into words.
