Church camp @ Ubin ended today and i'll say it's a success!:))
Simply treasure the time spent with them all as we captainball-ed and played both outdoor and indoor games such as
who am I on the first day, as well as having workshops on commitment towards God. Learnt much esp bout the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions. I especially love the sharing session cuz we got to learn more about everyone and also reflected on how the events of the day actually contributed in creating positive interpersonal relationships.
Second day was dedicated mainly to Amazing Race under rain and sun, indoor games like single-file-charades and having an eagle's eye for spotting celebs. Workshop with Preacher Pan is effective too, but i could tell all of us were rather drained out by the morn-afternoon's activities by then.
Third day (today) sees a group of churchmates getting all tickled during fish therapy. it was so darn cheap (supposedly $10 for 1/2 hr but the kind lady gave us much more than an hour :DD) and elicited uncontrollable eruption of laughter from every single one of us. I have smooth feet now. Touch them and your hands will slide!

Oh, i watched my first chinese movie "Bodyguards and Assassins" with my aunts and cousins last friday after visiting Joel. It's pretty good, a 3.89/5 i'd say. However it does not beat "Avatar"'s ratings, which i hear, is really good. I'm actually consider watching those blue creatures now. Went to get my passport changed on Sat for the coming bangkok trip as well and headed off to do some shopping on the 2nd level of a shophouse at Boat Quay, then to Central and Great World City. Met Marcus around Potong Pasir at Calvary Baptist Church in the evening to attend his church christmas rally where there was worship session, a brillant skit and message. And it had been a long time since i peeled the potatoes, an opportunity which came by on Sunday when 2 closest friends of Jean came over and
we they cooked delicious
beef stew. What wishful thinking. I could only -_- prepare a few of the ingredients whereas the actual cooking was done by one of them.
Am gonna attempt to cook on Christmas Day though! Hmm should i play it safe by buying insurance for the house first?

It's the first day im staying home since the start of the holidays and im enjoying every min of it:)
It has been an awesome holiday. Met up with friends since pri sch, hit the stores, drove around, went to a fantastic church camp at changi chalet + ubin, went to parks, suntanned at Sentosa, had a few stayovers, gatherings with jc and sec friends etc. Though my pockets arent burnt, tiredness has penetrated my very bones.
If i would teleport back to the 2nd of Dec, which is the end of the exams and start of the hols,
Tuesday - Hit the streets with wanling
Wednesday -
Cant remember events for this day. AhhThursday - Went to the hairdresser, had worship practice and youth fellowship, and supper with the usual few after that
Friday - Towned with ciyuan and headed for joanna's grandmother's funeral
Sat - Went to suntec with jiahao, drove to tampines' ikea (which is humongous) to get comfy pillows and did some silly stuff, then walked around in ang mo kio hub, back to town and lastly, headed to my auntie's house where i had a great time with cousins over steamboat
Sunday - Played during worship then service in church, and headed to the funeral
Monday - Went to send grandma off and seeing her family members break down when her body was going to be burnt caused my heart to tear into pieces:( (the comforting thing is that we'll still see our loved ones one day). Had lunch at Woodlands' sakura with Aunt Susan and Aunt Alice's families and after that, met ervin at iluma in the late noon and supported my sis for her under-19-match at Pioneer
Tuesday - Went to orchard with angie and met Marcus after his work
Wednesday - Eileen came over in the morn to do wanling's beautiful scrapbook for her birthday and after picking wanling up from kallang, we went to ice skate. BUT cuz of time constraint, ended up chilling at the starbucks. Cabbed to jurong for worship practice at Jovan's house in the evening and met Tingyou at 11 where she stayover-ed!
Thursday- Tanning with Tingyou @ Sentosa, vivoed a while where i bought my first piece of item! Rushed home where Marcus came over to help pack for church camp and set off for the east in the late noon. Had night games at changi village where we had to uncover the disguise of several targets (so darn cool) and game of life before falling off to dreamland around 2am.
Fryday - Worship and workshop in the morn and then, amazing race at ubin under scorching hot sun. Love my group members and the rest of his churchmates too! Superb time bonding and getting to know them better esp as it's like 10 to a room. All the chatting and group sessions were awesome.
Sat - Worshop and workshop in the morn and after group time, there was project runway/CYC Next Top Model. Yiling was so cool when she posed as "L" and all efforts did not go to waste. :) After Sports fiesta under the fiery heat, headed back to the central to wash up. Then it was meeting 4C and chilled at Charmaine's house. Had ketchup time with many and charades + duck game were hilarious.
Sunday - Led the worship session in church and also, played for the junior youth choir (i'd say they really sang well!:D) Met up with JC mates for K-box session in the evening where we sang our hearts out till 12 and then, wanting came to stay over for the night!
Monday -After we were woken up by the drills outside the house, we lazed at home, catching up with the latest news online, youtubing and just having fun. Went our separate ways around 4 where I ran errands at Tanjong Pagar and gave tuition at CCK after that. Dinner cooked by my tutee's mum is as usual, mouth-watering. Walked and chilled by the sea @ West Coast Park till 11++ before heading home.
Tuesday - HOME SWEETEST HOME. Eileen came over this morning to help wanling bid for her modules and after a while, she has to leave to prepare for her pageant. Gonna support the girl!
Wednesday- Outing with my godmum in Town
Thursday - Gonna meet my <3 cuz he aint working :) Giving tuition after that and then, it's youth session in the night.
Foodday -PlazaSing-ing with Joel, Charmaine and CJ for lunch and perhaps pool/lan session after that? Will be meeting my aunties and cousins till 8 where i'll be having chocolate buffet at hilton's with meizhen, cheryl, cecilia, jolyn and her friend. Yum yum.
Sat - Day with Marcus (hopefully he isnt busy) and to pack for my church camp @ Ubin the coming week!
Sunday - Time with God and churchmates till 3 then giving tuition. Heading home to further pack bag and be excited for the camp starting on monday!:)
Christmas is around the corner.
Another year is coming to an end.
