Got myself glued to the seat of the lib since 8 this morning and as i was listening to Jayesslee's songs, i cant help but think that their songs are really AMAZING! Tried writing songs a few times and i think mine suck pretty bad as compared to them. A certain someone can testify to it. haha. Anyway, their songs always make me feel like singing out loud. Thank goodness i have a certain level of self-control if not everyone else including Blossoms will fall off their seats.

Their testimonials touched my heart deeply:) love the harmonising of the song at the end:)

Received another one of my assignments today and whoopie!=)

I have to agree with Blossoms (Ruiqi) that study sessions this semester are awesome! Stress levels are maintained at an all-time low (well, most of the time), thanks to the babes. Naming those exchange students Draco Malfoy/ Bill Weasley and recently out popped a Ron Weasley due to the physical similarities, those inside jokes, so forth. And mean ruiqi called me 'stewpid' in her blog cuz she had a hard time controlling her laughter due to the pin-drop silence in the lib. I cant possibly keep my comments to myself even if it's in the lib right. Haha, im glad God gave me those girls who are tough like nuts and i'm totally lovin' this crazy friendship. One more paper to go and...

Today, I received an sms which made a lot of sense.

Sat for my second paper today and God is good! Everything that could have gone wrong was made right. The traffic jam on the way to school turned to honey and traffic was as smooth as powder after praying, so that i could get to the exam hall right on time! He answers prayers! :)

When I saw that little brown thing scurrying around on the toilet floor, i felt a stab of terror and for a moment, i was at a loss on what to do. An idea formed in my head and I galvanised into action.

Okay. I shant say how the cockroach met its fate but its death was a quick one and I used neither my bare hands nor any solid tool.

Unfortunately, i didnt foresee the next problem which was 'how to clear the dead brown thing'. Clearly, i wasnt cut out to be a cockroach exterminator and picking up the cockroach was not ranked top on the list of my favourite things to do. Therefore, I called the headmaster of the house - my mum -and got her to do the job. She laughed when she heard what i did to the little brown thing and then she said,

"You should have called the Pest Control Director." (she was referring to herself)

which sounded extremely funny then, hearing her utter those words.

My mum seemed to like the fact that she was being funny and continued to find other synonyms for 'Pest Control Director',

which was pretty unfortunate for me because,

after many countless attempts, it was not that amusing anymore but she couldnt tell, as evident from the look of satisfaction that suffused on her face.

so after a while,
my laughter became ... ... well, forceful. :(

Just thought that that was a rather cute side of her.

Anyway, i can't wait for exams to be over!
There are plans to have a movie marathon in my house with uni friends the day exams end, going out with Eileen, spending time with jiahao, catching up with ciyuan and wanting and im so glad joel's gonna organise a class outing too! And I have to meet up with my JC friends! Oh wait. There's still the daily training sessions for the standard chartered marathon. All these before flying off to reunite with Jean! And coming back just in time for church camp :)

The trip to Sydney is cancelled and it's primarily due to the fact that jean and i dont have time to plan. What a huge waste :(

It was a desolate feeling, strong enough to blur my vision and dull the colours in my life.

NINE deadlines later, my productivity level hit rock bottom. 4 hours just flew past without a single word written for the last report due monday. It was overwhelmingly frustrating that while confiding in Tchea, it took every ounce of willpower not to burst into tears. The situation did not improve after i headed home, as i just stared blankly at the screen, which seemed to be sniggering at my sombre expression as it chunked out myriad reports which did not alleviate the moodless state that I was in.

Thankfully, after penning down my thoughts and fears in my diary and praying, i felt a sense of peace and a voice telling me not to fret!

Nightmarish events aside, there are two bright spots. Results have been surprisingly and thankfully good and I'll be visiting Sydney at the end of the year as well! I hope that there will be opportunities to visit the humongous Jenolan caves:)

Have been slacking much this week, despite the impending doom brought about by the intimidating deadlines. Headed down to town and hit the malls 4 -5 times this week. It's as if I have been suppressing my inner shopaholic self and have to unleash all of it this week. The weekends were pretty much burnt with intentions to study and behaviour heading 180 degrees in the opposite direction.

Well, I've one deadline due tonight, the time when cinderella's carriage metamorphosed into a pumpkin. Likewise, I hope my assignment will not turn to rags (due to frustration and desperation) when the clock is about to strike for the 12th time.

Love Wanting's mum who made an orange pendant for me and gave my family raisin scorns, freshly baked from the oven!:)

She came over to borrow a handbag around 9 plus and while she was here, I brought out a box which contained a handful of our letters written to one another (including the other 2 "bandit friends" - a term we gave our clique in pri 3-4). Reading those letters sent peals of laughter into the air and out of the room. We couldnt believe how childish we used to be (of course i must include the 'used to') and how sensitive we could get. Much of the content of those letters is attributed to stuff like "i'll miss you" and "you are my best friend" or something similar. Those were the days where we were all crazy over stuff toys, playing crocodile during recess or hanging out under the coconut tree, gossiping about our bandit friend's all-time favourite crush. Unfortunately, times have changed. Now, the hot topic among kids is facebook and korean bands (know this cuz of my tutee who is always chattering nonstop bout Shinee, humming their songs, or talking bout her disdain for Justin Bieber during tuition).
