1. Where does true joy come from?
Luxury goods like owning a ferrari? Or carrying that branded bag that might illicit jealousy and envy?
Perhaps, it emanates from knowing God; having a personal relationship with Him. It also comes from interacting with friends and helping others in their hardship.
2. "The earlier we sort out our priorities in our lives", the better our lives will be.
3. Be easily contented with whatever we have.

My heart skipped a beat /// 1:28 AM
It's the busiest time of the month- "death week" - as how my peers would put it.
With 11 deadlines due these two weeks, i'm just taking things one at a time. Been finding time to run these couple of days too, for I have to take part in the Director's Race this Friday. Am taking time to pen down some thoughts in the midst of studying for my math test tmr and i've only just started. Had group project after classes today, and after coming back home from sch at 10.30 p.m., got changed and went for a jog at the park nearby. Am glad to see another lone figure jogging too, for it can deserted and dark at night, save for the street lamps.
While jogging, I guess i've been doing some reflecting. Been comforted by certain passages in a book that I'm reading, that we are finally freed from the tyranny of social approval and the dictatorship of insecurities because our Father has provided us with Himself. Our self-image is only to be shaped by His' unconditional timeless love for us, not the careless actions or words of others.
Allow Your perspective to become mine, Father. Let me continue to trust in Your incredible purpose for me.
