Is the picture getting clearer? /// 10:25 PM
As the saying goes, "Life is like a rollercoaster ride."
And i agree with it hands down. Thinking back on whatever that has/has not happened the past month, those miserable incidents seem to outweigh the happy ones. Shant mention much of it but i realised that throughout the whole ordeal , a simple reminder is to pray fervently and give thanks.
Take yesterday for example, fell terrible ill with a high fever, chills, back pain, headache and i couldnt even bring myself to stand cuz i felt so weak.
Prayers + sleep + love and concern of family and friends + Marcus, all who took turns to take care of sick patient + water transformed me into a quite-healthy person, well enough to go to church today! Felt much better the moment i sat on the piano seat in church. All these in just a day. Amazing or what.
Okay, mum's hurrying me to rest.
Happy birthday cheryl, once again! Hope you like your handmade present:)
-Thank You, Lord, for prayers, knowing that You are always with me. -
It happened so quickly. /// 2:31 AM
Once reality sank in, the inaudible sniffles gradually gathered force until her weeping was a stream, a torrent, a ventable ocean of tears..

Missing is a weird feeling.
Sometimes, it isnt there at all, and then it comes like a silent predator and swoops down, knocking you flat on your back. And you struggle to breathe and and you want to cry, but you dont because there's no point. The person has left and gone to a better place - you know it and no one ever says it's easy. Though you are surrounded with loved ones, you feel all alone and the night is cold and very dark.
Either you get it, or you dont. /// 9:34 PM
Look at what I found on my table.

Thanks Jean. Thanks.
:) me /// 1:45 AM
The week has passed by smoothly and God has always been there for me.
Attended lessons, worked, drove, swam, enjoyed life...
He wants to share with you what lies beneath those nostrils.
Look at that! Gulp~
Atom Orchard has to give or receive electrons to become Ion Orchard.

Like the way the photo turned out

Supported Wanting and her band at Ang Mo Kio Methodist Church's carnival this morning and my heart just danced when i saw her up there on stage doing her thang with the keyboard and all. :) Used coupons on food, a bottle of honey for her and my fav buy of the day - a cross-stitched bookmark with my name on it! And it's the only piece too:)
Caught G.I Joe in the cinemas after that. It hits a 3.5 in my virtual list of ratings for movies.
Finally, Joey turns 2 today!
She's awfully irresistable!

I shall do myself a favour by inserting the first candle, all by myself.

Oh no! Where arent both my candles lit? Hmph.

-Thank You, Lord, for wonders of Your creation. -
Nothing but sky and stars and darkness. /// 10:48 PM
Work @ the tuition centre has come to an end (which is partly a relief cuz a pale ring of goggle marks has formed around my eyes and not so on the other hand, cuz i'll miss the greatest staff and friends).
Zhengliang turns 20 today! Had an early birthday celebration with cheryl and gang on Monday where we bought him a Fred Perry shirt which fits him snugly:) been ages since i saw the shaved head(s) since their enlistment. Well im glad we still had a dandy time, though i
was am really shocked by the news of our friend's unfortunate incident.
Went to Ion with marcus for the first time that afternoon and it was giant-tic. Like another vivo.
It was a huge relief to me when i finally poured out some stuff which i had been holding back and you just did the best thing - you listened. thanks for being so understanding and i was glad it turned out the way it did. nothing could be better than that.On the first day of school, woke up early when the sun - a shimmering orange fireball had just risen, and headed to sentosa. After that, gave tuition and it was 6pm at school for social psychology lecture.
On the second day of school, had lectures from 10 to 2, and then it was a trip to cck for tuition (and now, my tutee says we have to stay together if we get married! what innocence:D ) Met wanling at NYNY for dinner and we've decided to commit our mondays to studying together.
Well, im off to catch some meteors in action. Sayonara!
- Thank You, Lord, for meteor showers. -
WHY /// 11:27 PM
Some things happen when you least expect them to.
Note to self: Learn to cherish life more.
Struggles /// 11:14 PM
When the clock chimed 12 last night, could be found in Acid Bar with fantastic company. Ordered Baileys with milk (my fav) with a totally corrupted name - "Screaming Orgasm". Ew. The atmosphere was awesome, thanks to the entertaining singers who were singing their souls out with songs such as Iris and Sunday Morning. Happy birthday Singapore!
After their gig ended, couldnt get enough of the music and we headed to Old School. Ended up walking to Timbre @ Substation after having decided that it would make a better place to chill. Had a drink "Sweet Lady" which tasted kinda strong and awful. As expected, couldnt hold my liquor and started feeling light-headed after half the cocktail was gone in a-thousand-and-one sips. Though i was a million miles from getting drunk, started having the urge to yak non-stop. Thank goodness i was somber enough to control myself before i vomit all the secrets out.
Okay. Just harmless fun.
There's a first time for everything.
School is starting in 2 days and i am not looking forward to it. Totally. But I'll
xia ding jue xin to maximise my occupation as a student by being a NERD.
The most difficult part is just to
enjoy being one:(
- Thank You, Lord, for constant reminders. -
One Note Samba /// 2:49 AM
Just had a night-ful of Quarubar's jazz (which wasnt as good as expected) and Ben N Jerry's @ Dempsey. And there was this art gallery which sells artworks from established artists priced from a few hundred to some 5-digit figures. While majority of the pieces look kinda thought-provoking and mysterious, a few seem as if they are just some random messy art pieces. Guess it takes more than just the
normal eye to appreciate them. Great company - moonlit talk and all!:)
Well, the most unfortunate event that happened on Wed was that
my phone was stolen... for the fourth time in a year (am not exaggerating). PICKPOCKETED this time. It was really unexpected as my jc friends and I were together physically, for most of the time. The question arises - HOW WAS IT STOLEN??? I simply simply simply cant imagine the kinds of people who will attempt such a thing. Sigh. Looking on the brighter side, perhaps the pickpocket really needs the $$ badly.
But still. It cost me one sleepless night. Was tossing and turning in bed the entire time cuz my mind was racing and asking itself questions of Lost Phone.
Then again, dinner with wanting and babes + Hoyin was never to be missed, with all the enjoyable talks at vivo and superb company!
This week has been pretty eventful, with 3 tuition daily -
(oh btw, wedding bells a'ringing! im gonna get married to my Pri 1 hongkong tutee, who said he wanna marry me or rather, his brother let the cat out of the bag this morning, in front of him, to which he responded by putting his hands on his waist in a *hmph* manner) Burst out laughing actually cuz the whole scenario was quite comical. Cute.driving in the circuit for the first time,
dinner @ Aston,
durian-hunting @ Geylang,
eye-opening experiences at Changi Village and a trip to T3,
squeezing out time for a fun-filled evening with 06S16
work, work and more work.
- Thank You, Lord, for experiences to grow stronger.
It happened yet again /// 12:50 AM
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH:(and at the rate my heart is beating, i dont think i can get to sleep anytime soon
I'm missing some people /// 1:14 AM
My sister and I became two walking humpty dumpties after her mini birthday celebration at Kushindo! HAPPY BIRTHDAY dearest sista of mine! You're irreplaceable! :)
@ Kushinbo
A father sitting at the next table offered to take a photo for us and his wife asked us whether were we good friends! Haha

A surprise celebration for jeanbean with a bday cake and balloon when she came home on fri!

Some of the youth who came over to watch Fireproof:)
which by the way is a fab movie bout relationships and marriage. Few teary moments.
The past week has been
tuition, badminton and dinner with meizhen darren and cherri,
tuition, driving, work,

tuition, k-box with wanting angie and eve, buying groceries
tuition, churchmates coming over for the first time! :)
work, work, work, 6A outing!
(thisisrandombut jean just came over and gave me a hug!)
Hmm the Kids Choir sang in church today and it was such a relief it went smoothly, with the actions and all (though co-ordination wasnt that perfect) but ultimately, my goal is for them to sing with their heart, meaning every word they say, for the glory of God. Lord, are you pleased? :)
-Thank You, Lord, for the power of Your love. -
